Police seized cars from dealers across the Island after complaints they were unroadworthy.
Five faulty cars were taken for examination at the vehicle test centre in Tromode.
Operation Mayflower followed complaints from the public.
On Facebook, police say the investigation also involved the Office of Fair Trading.
