Theatre-goers in Douglas were met with fines on their cars last night, following a show at the Villa Gaiety.
Some residents attending a Michael Jackson tribute act parked next to the war memorial on Douglas Promenade, an area where parking is not permitted.
One audience member said that when they left the theatre, dozens of cars had been fined.
Police have previously warned motorists not to park illegally in the area, saying any vehicles left there will be given a fixed penalty notice.
