Officers say over the past few weeks there have been a number of incidents - with the most recent in Shaw's Brow Car Park on Wednesday evening.
They're now examining CCTV footage to identify those involved - and are asking parents to make sure they know where their children are.
If you have any information about the vandalism, you're being asked to contact police headquarters.
