Police were called to Noble's Hospital earlier today following reports of a 'suspicious man.'
In a post on social media, Manx Care says they made the call to the constabulary 'as a precaution.'
Police searched up at Noble's and found a man who fitted the description provided, however he's said to have fully co-operated with authorities and no further action was required.
The health board says while officers patrolled the site, doors to wards and clinical areas were locked.
However, Manx Care says it's now satisfied there is 'no ongoing threat to our patients, colleagues and visitors.'
In the post, they've thanked the Police for responding so quickly and its colleagues for securing the site and reasurring patients.
