Manx Utilities chair John Wannenburgh says he's hoping to release more information about new plug-in solar kits soon.
He was asked about the money-saving energy devices on X, formerly Twitter, after the UK eased its regulations to allow homes to fit them.
They plug in to mains sockets and generate energy from panels, saving the average UK family around £800 a year.
It's unclear whether the devices are allowed in the Isle of Man, but Mr Wannenburgh says he's inquired about it and will publish the information soon.
Thank you, and I have asked for clarity on this. Will publish soonest.
