There are plans to use the site of an old public swimming pool as a pop-up bar for the next three years.
Meta Events Limited has submitted a new planning application for the area on Marine Parade in Peel, at the end of the promenade.
It ran an 'Ibiza-style' bar called the Meta Lounge there for the past two summers.
The company's now looking for permission to bring the lounge back from May until September each year, saying it wants to drive tourism to the town.
