Plans for new £10m school go to planning

What the Henry Bloom Noble primary school could look like

Planning permission is needed to build a new £10 million school.

The school will replace the ageing Ballacloan Infants’ School and Fairfield Junior School – placing over 200 students onto one site.

If approved it will be built on part of the former Noble’s Hospital site on Westmoreland Road in Douglas.

Education and Children Minister Tim Crookall says it won’t take long to construct:
