A memorial headstone and plinth could be installed at Police Headquarters to commemorate those who have died in service.
The Department of Home Affairs has applied for planning permission to place a memorial headstone and plinth at Police HQ in Douglas.
If approved, the memorial would be outside the main entrance near the flag pole.
It will honour John Craig and John Wright who both died on December 29 1852, Gordon Black who died on Jan 5 1966 and Denis Hamer who died on September 7, 1976.
