The pension will shoot up by 4.6% to £102.

Social Security pensions and benefits are set to increase from next month.

The pension will shoot up by 4.6% to £102.

Those on income related benefits, such as Income Support and Family Income supplement will see an increase of just over 4%.

Minister Martyn Quayle has said it’s been a challenge allocating the funds to the scheme, but they were deemed essential.
