PCR tests not available to confirm Covid-19 symptoms

Manx Care is reminding people PCR tests are not available to confirm symptoms of Covid-19.

The only reasons for requesting a PCR test are if you require antiviral treatment, to travel to the UK for Manx Care funded treatment or private hospital treatment, or as part of international travel requirements.

If you need PCR treatment in the UK, you're asked to contact 111 and not the Noble's Hospital Switchboard or Manx Care Advice and Liaison Service.
