Parish Walk numbers up this year

Manx Telecom Parish Walk organisers say numbers are up ahead of this year's event.

Compared to this time last year 200 more walkers have signed up for the event on June 20th.

This year new technology has been launched which means official photographs will be instantly updated to Facebook whilst the 85-mile race is in action.

Race director Ray Cox says it's set to be another bumper year:
