A UK newspaper has published what it claims are leaked emails from Island resident Baroness Mone to the British government saying she had no connection to a PPE company now under investigation.
The Guardian says the emails show Michelle Mone declaring she had no financial interest in PPE Medpro, which she recommended to ministers in 2020.
She and her husband Doug Barrowman are under investigation by the UK's National Crime Agency over allegations of fraud related to more than £200 million of contracts to produce protective equipment during Covid.
Both deny any wrongdoing.
