A painting of Douglas Bay from the 1840's is expected to sell for over £15,000 in London next week.
'Douglas Bay, Isle of Man' by Joseph Heard depicts the capital as it appeared around 180 years ago, and looks down at the bay from Douglas Head.
The piece is up for auction at Bonhams Marine Sale on Wednesday April 27.
It's estimated to sell at £15,000 - 20,000.
