Five government departments have hired more than 100 temporary workers from agencies in the last two years.
A series of Freedom of Information requests asked for data from Treasury, Health and Social Care, Infrastructure, Homes Affairs and Enterprise.
Leading the way was the DOI, which said it had taken on 51 temps since 2023, while Treasury had hired 31 and Enterprise 13.
In total, 108 temporary workers had been taken on by the five since the start of last year.
