The Department of infrastructure says a road traffic order introducing 20mph zones in Douglas and Onchan comes into force next week.
The order, from Monday, January 19, will see the scheme implemented in the east of the Island.
The Speed Limits (Various Roads) (East Area) Order 2025 amends a number of speed limits.
The department says those changes include 20mph zones in residential areas.
