I.D Cards Can Now be Obtained by Post
The Office of Fair Trading have announced new measures which mean applying for Proof of Age Cards will be more convenient for the applicant.
The 18 plus card is seen as a uniform identification, which will make it easier for retailers when selling age restricted goods like alcohol, cigarettes and fireworks.
Previously you could only obtain a card by visiting the OFT’s headquarters, application forms can now be downloaded from www.gov.im/oft.
The same stringent identity checks will still take place as before.
