Nurses on the Island are set to strike today after rejecting a pay offer from Manx Care.
The Royal College of Nursing says the strike action will take place between 8am-8pm, which is the start of the day shift through to the start of the night shift.
It comes following an offer of a £1,000 consolidated payment, which would be in addition to a 6% increase already awarded.
73% of members who voted chose to reject this.
Manx Care has published details of which services are affected by today's strike, which can be found here.
