No plans have been put forward to create a national art gallery in the derelict Castle Mona Hotel.
That's according to the Chief Minister who says government wouldn't be involved in any discussions about creating one there in future:
Allan Bell was quizzed on the issue in the House of Keys yesterday - and whether he'd work with The Albert Gubay Trust to secure the venue.
Douglas East MHK Jon Joughin raised the issue saying he doesn't think the current gallery, housed at the Manx Museum, is sufficient:
