No Indian Summer for the Island as frost is forecast

Despite much of the UK being promised an “Indian Summer” it’s going to be somewhat of a different story for the Isle of Man.

Over the next week some places will see temperatures reach around 20 degrees Celsius - uncharacteristically high for this time of year.

It’s due to a wave of hot air from Africa moving across the UK.

There’s also been warnings to expect "blood rain” which is where red dust from the Sahara Desert mixes with the rain.

However Ronaldsway Met Office forecaster Neil Young says it’s likely the Island will experience something different entirely:
