New road work process will consider taxpayer

The Infrastructure Minister has vowed to introduce a new procurement process for road works by next April.

It comes after a number of high profile schemes suffered set backs and issues that have delayed works and pushed costs up.

Laurence Skelly says the current situation isn't good enough - he says the new system will be formulated with the taxpayer in mind:
