Chief Minister Alf Cannan says the Island's newest nursing home will open in December.
In the House of Keys this week, he faced questions about the new Summerhill View home on Victoria Road.
Mr Cannan said the home had cost a total of £14.9 million and since February there'd been another £138,000 spent on equipping and furnishing the facility.
But he said the official opening is now in sight and residents will move in soon:
