Curraghs Wildlife Park has welcomed a new member into the Meerkat family.
A young male Meerkat called Chester has been introduced – it’s hoped he will keep the family group going.
The park stopped the ‘mob’ from breeding a few years ago when they had a good size for the enclosure – there are now just five females.
Chester was swapped for two of adult Coatis – general manager Kathleen says they had to sneak him in as integrating a new Meerkat can be difficult:
