A new go-karting track in Douglas could be operating by December if planning permission is granted.
Duke Karting has applied to site a temporary track in the paddock area behind the Grandstand.
For the part of the year when the site is in use for motorsport events, the company will continue to use the current facility at Jurby.
Director Peter Duke thinks they've found a good site for a new track:
