New Independent Living Centre will help those struggling with daily tasks

The Centre offers a professional evaluation of the individual aswell as help and demonstrations in things like meal preparation, showering and getting up and down stairs.

The Minister for Health, David Anderson, has officially opened a new centre, which will help people struggling with everday tasks.

The Independent Living Centre is the first one for the Isle of Man, they've been a long established facility in the UK.

They offer a professional evaluation of the individual aswell as help and demonstrations in things like meal preparation, showering and getting up and down stairs.

Minister for Health, Hon David Anderson said, 'The aim of this centre is to promote independent living for adults and children with physical and/or sensory impairments'
