Tynwald has approved the appointment of a new senior figure to the Steam Packet Company.
Lars Ugland will take up the post as non-executive director and will take up the role of chair from Robert Quayle who is due to step down on March 31.
A member of the Isle of Man Shipping Association since 2007, Mr Ugland also served as Honorary Norwegian Consul to the Island from 2011 to 2019.
Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan MHK, is welcoming him to the role whilst also praising the work of Mr Quayle who's served 11 years as chair of the organisation and 20 years as a director.
