It has been announced from Government House that, following the appointment of His Honour Deemster Corlett as Second Deemster, Alastair Montgomerie has been appointed as Deemster.
He has worked on the Island since 1991.
Since June 2003 His Worship has held the position of Deputy High Bailiff.
His will preside over the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
