The Department of Infrastructure says preparatory work has begun on resurfacing part of Windermere Avenue in Onchan.
Preparatory work began yesterday, with the main works expected to take one to two weeks.
Access to properties is available via the fire access lane linking to Ennerdale Avenue.
The diversion route has been signposted, with the work subject to weather conditions.
