Could a new children's day care centre be coming to Onchan?
Duncox Child Care Ltd. is hoping to base a new venue at Winchester Court on Second Avenue.
In its application, the organisation says it wants to offer 'top-grade children's facilities in the Onchan area' - if approved it's hoped it could accommodate up to 35 children throughout the day with opening hours betwen 8am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
The company adds the property is a two-minute walk from Onchan Primary School and a four-minute walk from Ashley Hill Primary and that the catchment area provides a mix of residential areas and businesses.
