Former Chief Minister Alf Cannan has been given a new post in the interim Council of Ministers.
The House of Keys met yesterday to elect a new speaker and deputy speaker.
But the post was left vacant after David Ashford, who was previously Cabinet Office Minister, was elected speaker - and so couldn't hold a ministerial post.
Mr Cannan says with a new administration forming next month, he's taken over the role of Minister for the Cabinet Office on an interim basis.
