The ManxSPCA says it's struggling to cope with the number of dogs it's being asked to rehome.
In a post on Facebook, the Foxdale-based charity says it's seeing increasing numbers of pooches looking for new homes.
But it says it's struggling to find adopters for the dogs in care, which would allow it to make room for others.
It's asking people who are interested in adopting a new pet to fill in a Home Finder Questionnaire - which you can find on its website - to match you with the right four-legged friend.
