Several Island roads are closed this morning because of storm Chandra, including the Mountain Road.
The route is shut between Ramsey Hairpin and the Creg-ny-Baa this morning, Tuesday, January 27.
Other closures caused by fallen trees, as of 7.45 am include:
- Glen Helen, from Poortown Road junction to Douglas Road Corner
- The Switchback Road to St Johns
- Lezayre Road from Ramsey to Sulby.
- Main Road in Ballaugh to Bishopscourt
- Mona Drive in Douglas
Ronaldsway Met Office has a yellow weather warning for severe gales and rain in place until midday.
Forecasters say exposed coasts and promenades are also at risk of being hit by coastal overtopping.
All of today's ferries have been cancelled, and flights are also being disrupted at the airport this morning.
Bus Vannin is also warning of multiple diversions to its services as a result of the road closures.
