Police have released footage of the terrifying moment a motorcyclist crashed on the Mountain Road - prompting further warnings about road safety.
The biker was involved in an incident at the Verandah last Friday - managing to escape with only minor injuries - but was later fined £120 and given three points on their licence for driving without due care and attention.
The constabulary took to social media saying the consequences could have been much worse.
It added incidents such as these are the reason roads can be closed to carry out investigations and to respond to them as quickly as possible.
