Playing sports or doing nothing outside during school time is most likely to lead to an injury, according to figures released by a Freedom of Information request.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture was asked for detailed statistics about injuries in schools.
Of 64 reported incidents last year, 26 involved fractures - with 35 injuries during break time, and 39 reported outside school buildings.
The statistics say 17 injuries were a result of sports or games, and another 17 were inflicted doing nothing.
