More people 'living with cancer' on Island

Cases of people "living with cancer" are multiplying on the Isle of Man.

That's according to the chief executive officer of Manx Cancer Help - who explains that the number of people using the service has increased in line with medical advancements. 
 
The charity says around 400 patients are diagnosed on Island each year, with more people seen at an earlier stage and offered cutting-edge drugs to tackle it. 
 
Expanding to cope with a rising demand - it hopes survivors and others living longer with the disease will continue to use its services.
