Minister warns of Eurozone "backwash"

The Treasury Minister has warned the Island could be caught in the “backwash” of the Eurozone crisis.

Speaking to 3FM, Eddie Teare said the ongoing financial issues in Europe would certainly have an effect on the Isle of Man as a result of a lack in global economies.

The Ayre MHK said he remained confident in the Island’s long-term financial success - but admitted we could be for an "interesting time” in the immediate future (see audio).
