A report claims that the Island’s former airport director was told by a minister not to attend a committee hearing where he was meant to appear as a witness.
Gary Cobb was urged to tell the Economic Policy Review that he could not attend an oral evidence session on October 11.
This was because the Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall who was meant to attend the session with Mr Cobb has another commitment.
The committee has labelled the situation ‘unacceptable’.
