MHK wants update on review into functions of Tynwald

When will government be ready to push forward with a review into Tynwald functions?

Douglas West MHK Chris Thomas has called for a parliamentary reform review - this received the required amount of backing following a combined House of Keys and LegCo vote.

The review would be followed by a referendum - which would offer the public the chance to vote on whether they want to see Tynwald reduced to a single legislative body.

Mr Thomas will ask the Chief Minister in today's House of Keys sitting for an update:
