A Ramsey MHK says he wants the Island to rethink its cannabis laws.
Dr Alex Allinson says he hopes this year the Isle of Man will review legislation regarding the class B drug.
In February the Department of Health and Social Care is due publish its strategic review of drug and alcohol problems on the Island.
Dr Allinson says he hopes it'll mean "mature debate" on the topic.
