A newly-elected MHK is set to take on responsibilities within two government departments.
Claire Christian MHK is set to become a member of both the Department of Education, Sport & Culture and Department of Infrastructure.
Speaking about the new positions, Mrs Christian says: "I look forward to starting work with both departments and thank the Chief Minister for presenting the opportunity to play my part alongside this administration.
"My career and business background have provided a range of experiences on which to draw, and I am eager to help deliver the aims of departments which play such significant roles in our community."
Mrs Christian was recently elected alongside Paul Quine MHK to represent Douglas South following a by-election held in August.
Both will be officialy sworn-in as members of the House of Keys at a ceremony on Tuesday, October 13.
