A new museum dedicated to the TT Races could help to attract more visitors to the Isle of Man.
That’s the view of the Department of Economic Development which is looking at creating a motorsport themed attraction.
A number of government owned sites are being looked at for the project – with a further announcement due at TT next year.
MHK Laurence Skelly, who has responsibility for both tourism and motorsport, says it could prove a good private-public sector initiative:
