The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure has a ‘Rolls Royce’ attitude to public transport.
That’s the accusation being made by Michael MHK Alf Cannan.
In a heated debate in the House of Keys this week he quizzed the Minister as to why his department is showing a budget deficit of half a million pounds.
Graham Cregeen told politicians it was because areas where savings were going to be made – like bendy buses – are now unlikely to materialise.
However Mr Cannan says he thinks there is more to it than that:
