Should the Island introduce a UK-style debt repayment scheme?
When Tynwald sits in February, Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will ask members to back setting up debt management plans.
They would see creditors repaid under plans prepared by bodies such as debt counselling services.
Mr Moorhouse wants the Treasury to report on proposals by June setting out a programme to set the scheme up.
