MHK calls for more help for ex-servicemen

An Onchan MHK is calling on the UK Government to do more to help ex-servicemen from the Isle of Man.

In Tynwald this week Peter Karran questioned whether there are any military personnel sleeping rough on our streets.

Chief Minister Allan Bell said he didn't believe there was an issue but admitted it wouldn't be the Manx Government's problem if there was in the UK.

However Mr Karran says in light of the new army reserve unit, which has been set up on the Island, we should be lobbying for reassurance:
