An MHK is pressing the government about supporting electrical retailers over charges for disposing waste at Civic Amenity Sites.
Glenfaba and Peel MHK Kate Lord-Brennan has tabled a question for written rely to Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Clare Barber about the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment regulations.
She wants to know what measures are in place for retailers who take back old electrical items when selling new ones.
Ms Lord-Brennan also wants assurances complying with the regulations won't unfairly fall on these businesses.
