A yellow weather warning has been issued for high tide this afternoon.
The Met Office says Shore Road in Rushen as well as promenades in Douglas, Ramsey Laxey and Castletown may see coastal overtopping.
The risk is particularly high when the tide will be at its highest at around 2pm.
Forecasters say spring tides may mean debris and waves wash onto exposed roads.
