A Mercedes driver stopped by police in St Johns was sixteen times over the limit for cocaine, and had no tax or insurance.
Damien Clarke Crowe of Mona Street in Peel appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 27 year old admitted drug-driving, having no tax, having no insurance and possessing cocaine and cannabis on Main Road in St Johns on November 16 last year.
Prosecutor Hazel Carroon told the court police stopped Crowe's black Mercedes A180 shortly before 1am after a patrol ran a computer check and discovered it was untaxed.
His eyes were glazed and he failed a roadside drugs test - samples later showed he had 16 times the permitted level of cocaine in his blood.
Magistrates asked for probation reports to be prepared and bailed Crowe in the sum of £500 with a condition he doesn't drive.
He's next due to appear in court on May 18 for sentencing.
