TT favourite Guy Martin will travel to Japan in April to test his new TT Zero bike.
He'll be joining 23-time TT winner, and new Honda teammate, John McGuinness for Team Mugen.
Team Mugen confirmed the news this week saying it believes it can break the 120mph barrier for the first time this year.
The Lincolnshire rider will replace Bruce Anstey as preparations get underway for the sixth consecutive assault on the one-lap electric race.
Both Martin and McGuinness will ride a new bike - known as the SHINDEN ROKU - which will be unveiled at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show at the end of March.
The TT Zero race will take place on June 7th.
