A Douglas man who threatened to stab a woman in her own home will be sentenced next month.
43 year old Glenn James Anderson, of Derby Road, went into the property on Belmont Terrace just after 5.30am on July 9.
The occupier called 999 and call operators could hear the threats he was making towards her - including telling her that if she was a man he would stab her.
Anderson then left the scene - police located him a short time later and found a small lock knife concealed in his clothing.
At Douglas Courthouse this week Anderson pleaded guilty to provoking behaviour and possessing an offensive weapon in public.
Social enquiry and psychiatric reports have been requested before he's sentenced on August 29 - he's been bailed until that date.
