A Glen Maye man will stand trial after denying assaulting his partner in an early morning attack.
47-year- old Colin Edward Oates pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault causing actual bodily harm when he appeared at Douglas Courthouse this week.
The offence was allegedly committed at Ballachrink Farm on June 3.
Committal proceedings - where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery - will take place on August 29.
There was no application for bail and he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until his next appearance on August 1, which will be via live video link.
