A man’s been bailed after magistrates heard he’d effectively served the maximum sentence he could be given on remand as he awaits trial.
Jordan Declan John Caley, aged 23, denied affray on April 10 when he appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The hearing was told committal proceedings are due to take place in October but Mr Caley had been remanded in custody for almost three months.
Magistrates bailed him in the sum of £500 to live at the Graih shelter on Broadway in Douglas, and he’ll appear in court again on October 1.
